I hail from Bay Springs, Mississippi, and my journey has taken me to various cities. I made New Orleans my home at age 20, and it holds a special place in my heart. I have also experienced life in Charlotte, North Carolina. However, I have a love for New York and the Island of Jamaica. Currently, I reside in Dallas, Texas. These diverse locations have shaped my perspective, and you will see their influence in my books. I hold a master's degree in the science of psychology, specializing in child and adolescent therapy, with a minor in biology. I am a truck driver and an aspiring actress, and I also substitute teach in my spare time. Some may say I have a lot on my plate, but we can never do enough. Each job I undertake allows me to contribute in a unique way. For example:

As a child therapist, my role is to enhance the mental and physical well-being of children, a responsibility I hold dear. During the 2020 pandemic, I served as an essential worker, driving nationwide to deliver supplies to those in need. As a substitute teacher, I step in during teacher shortages, and in some schools, I am the only teacher children have. Lastly, being a writer and creator is my way of bringing humor and a sense of freedom to your mind. Each of these roles is a testament to my commitment to helping others in various capacities.
